Why Colchester is 20–40% cheaper than London
Studio overheads are lower here — no West End rent, no £70k junior designer salaries. The talent isn't worse; the maths just works out differently.
That said, you can still get burnt. The £500 quote almost always comes with 'oh and hosting is £40/month' and a locked platform you can't leave. Ask for the total 3-year cost, not the launch price.
