How do I get my products on Google Shopping?

Set up Google Merchant Center, submit a product feed, and enable free listings. Paid Shopping ads sit on the same feed.

/ 01

The short version

Free listings exist and plenty of UK retailers never turn them on.

/ 02

What actually matters

  • Create Merchant Center and verify your domain.
  • Submit a feed — Shopify and WooCommerce both have apps for this.
  • Include GTIN/barcode where available, or you'll get disapprovals.
  • Match feed prices to site prices exactly or items get suspended.
  • Enable free listings before spending on Shopping ads.

/ 03

The bit most people get wrong

Most feed rejections come from missing GTINs, price mismatches or a missing returns policy — not from anything complicated.

/ 04

What to do next

Set up Merchant Center and enable free listings this week, before you consider paid Shopping.
